TROOP 90 LONGMEADOW
The primary difference between Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts is the amount of work and responsibility given to the Scout. In Boy Scouts, parents are generally less involved with their scout's merit badges and advancement. The purpose for this change is because scouts are expected to have more responsibility at this phase of life. This doesn't mean that we don't need your help!
About Troop 90
Troop 90 from Longmeadow, Massachusetts is part of the Western Massachusetts Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We meet every Tuesday of the school year at Williams Middle School. We also try to have one camp-out each month - even in the winter.
Scouts are given opportunities to earn merit badges through participation in troop activities. These troop activities are run by parent volunteers, so if you are interested in helping the troop with merit badges and/or advancement, please visit www.meritbadge.org. The time will be well spent as you will help a group of scouts learn something new and interesting!
